Will A. Shinen

William A. Shinen represents clients in a broad range of legal matters, with a primary focus on general litigation involving domestic issues, real estate, and contract disputes. He is known for his disciplined approach to litigation, careful case preparation, and commitment to achieving efficient, effective resolutions for his clients.

Will graduated from Brigham Young University’s School of Accountancy with Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Accountancy degrees. After working in the technology sector for a number of years, Will earned his Juris Doctor from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah in 2009. Will then started a solo practice focusing on family law and estate planning before transitioning into insurance defense. After joining Jeffs & Jeffs, P.C. he has worked in general litigation that includes domestic cases, land disputes, trust administration, and contract disputes.

Will approaches each case with the goal of minimizing conflict when possible while advancing his clients’ needs and goals. In his litigation practice, Will utilizes his analytical approach and attention to detail to help protect his clients’ interests and position them for favorable outcomes. Will is dedicated to delivering responsive service, straightforward counsel, and strategic advocacy. He works closely with each client to understand their objectives and to develop practical legal solutions tailored to their specific circumstances.

Personal

Will grew up in the Pacific Northwest and enjoys traveling back to visit the beaches and parks with his family. He also travels abroad when the opportunity arises. He speaks Spanish and has traveled throughout Mexico, Guatemala, and other Central American countries. He would like to visit countries in southeast Asia next.
